Hi Paul,

Yes he's doing well. He's painted something like 160 minis for me, I have a hard months basing ahead!

The Aventines are painting up quite swiftly, too.

What s next ?

Hi Greg, I'm sure we can think of something!

One thing I want to do is a lot (50+) of casualty markers, like the Gloranthan ones I made a couple of years ago. I have thought about trying to sculpt these with greenstuff, and cast them in resin; then add bits like shields and so forth. Once I get some more greenstuff, I also want to try to do a dead African elephant...

you should use FIMO for the elephant

Good idea- I will try to buy some tomorrow.

http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/2009/01/dead-mammoth.html and following posts may help you. the stuff he s using is the same as Fimo. I've made devil's hand, Ragnaglar and devil's stomack (and some parts of the Giant zombie Hamster) with fimo.

Hi Greg, thanks for the link; I'd been trying to remember who did the Mammoth.

I'm going to make it from Greenstuff, just in case I decide to get it cast later on (I think Fimo might explode if in a vulcaniser). I also want to make it hollow for weight reasons. I'll want around 10 of them.
