I've finished the Leones Ivniores, the latest unit in my small Late Roman army. I'm very pleased with how they came out; not the best photo, though (although clickable).
They are Auxilia Palatina, a cut above the first two units, the Martenses Seniores and the Armigeri Defensores Ivniores. Every man fully armoured! Hang the expense!
Tomorrow I'll post the other units.

I'm just about to post the army, so far...
Yup very nicely done, esp the shields!
escuse my ignorance : who is portrayed on the shields ? Do we know ?
(oh and they re very nice !)
I'm not sure Greg, they look like a barbarian's head (and I've seen them depicted that way in an Osprey), but might they be a lion's head?
Lovely work, I love the whole completed army. The cavalry look great! I'm very impressed with the basing and the small rocks on the skirmisher bases, lovely work.
Cheers, mate! More to follow...
