'arfer table

This is the right hand side 8' of the table, finished (bar the hexes).  The main change since the last photo are that I've dyed the lighter fields to darken them, and drybrushed all the tufts of static grass to make them blend in.  On the day, there will be trees and haystacks.

I'm really pleased with how they came out!  Tomorrow Ian is going to help me with marking some hexes out.

That looks great!

We have used both C&C and Battlelore on the tabletop w/o bothering with hexes - we just translate all references to "hex" to mean "6 inch increment". That includes movement and ranges. Not having hexes doesn't change the maneuverability one bit.

It is great, really! It's a hard work, of course, but it's incredible! Good work.

Howard makes a good point. Would hexes ruin all your hard work?!

What a lovely board.

This is going to be a great setting for your game. Well done. I can't wait to see how you put the hexes down.

Thanks chaps.

The hexes will be very low-key, and removable. I like hexes. :-)

If the marking method works, I'll post it here. If it doesn't I'll probably shoot myself.
