More white shields

Another 21 finished (bar varnishing).  For some reason, I find the Polemarch rather less interesting to paint, than their Foundry equivalents; I'm really not sure why.  However, I've now got enough minis finished, to be able to start thinking about basing up another 2 phalanx blocks.

Top notch!

Nice Work. I think the problem with the Polemarch phalangites is that the castings are less sharp than their Foundry equivalent. This is particularly true of the pteruges which are a real pain in the backside to paint.
Just my two pence worth.

Hi HGA, I agree they are a little less sharp; nice minis, though (at least the infantry; I'm not wild about the cavalry).

Great looking Machimoi Simon, looking forward to the finished phalanx!

Great looking unit; they appear to be very similar to Foundry in style and sculpting. I don't have any GB Successors, but maybe Foundry does have sharper lines. Best, Dean

Hi Dean, almost identical to Foundry; the same sculptor, in fact (Steve Saleh). Cheers, Simon
